The key milestones that have shaped Charged
Ideation
Mohammed, working as a legal consultant, saw people struggle to understand sentencing and access affordable legal advice, sparking the idea for CHARGED. His dedicated research and development, guided by collaboration with users and industry leaders, ensured a meaningful and impactful product
Co-Founder Alignment
Mohammed pitched CHARGED to Sohail, who helped rework the business model, restructure the pitch deck, and define a scalable product vision.The first version of CHARGED was developed to showcase the user experience flow and gather early feedback from investors and partners
Product Refinement
Using insights from investor discussions and real users, Alpha v2.0 was launched with improved UX/UI and a clearer product direction. Abdullah Abbas joined as Financial Officer and Head of Investor Relations to lead fundraising and strengthen investor communications.CHARGED raised a £500k pre-seed round to accelerate platform development, partnerships, and hiring. The BETA version of CHARGED launched, with feedback collected from focused user groups and real-world testing to prepare for full rollout.
